About

Anna, the founder of Crescent Calm Yoga, is a trauma-informed yoga teacher, registered with Yoga Alliance (RYT-200). She has done over 250 hours of training in Hatha, Vinyasa and Restorative Yoga and has been teaching since March 2024.

Anna is dedicated to creating a supportive space where students can explore their practice mindfully with compassion and playfulness. Her journey with yoga began in her teenage years, and over time, she has explored various styles of yoga, deepening her understanding of movement, breath, and inner awareness. Through years of practice, she developed a special appreciation for the somatic approach to yoga - one that invites students to tune into their bodies, release tension, and cultivate a sense of safety within themselves.

In addition to her foundational training in trauma-informed Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, Anna has completed specialized trainings, including a 35h Restorative Yoga training and a Yoga for Better Sleep course. These additional studies allow her to guide students toward deep relaxation, nervous system regulation and improved sleep quality. Whether leading a slow Vinyasa Flow, a grounding Hatha session or a Restorative practice, she emphasizes the mind-body connection, helping students move with intention and presence.

For Anna, yoga is not just about movement. It’s a journey toward self-awareness and inner balance. Through her teaching, she encourages students to embrace mindfulness, build resilience, and carry the benefits of their practice into everyday life.
